What RX Tools checks

RX Tools is a free set of browser-based utilities for website owners. It reviews broken links, mobile layouts, calls to action, launch tasks, page speed, redirects, accessibility signals, homepage copy, and SEO metadata.

How do the checks work?

Standalone tool pages analyze HTML or copy that a visitor pastes, in that visitor’s browser. The optional website widget reads the current page after a visitor starts a check; its broken-link check makes at most 50 credential-free HEAD requests to same-origin URLs and never crawls external sites.

What are the limitations?

Results are heuristic suggestions, not accessibility or SEO certification, legal advice, ranking predictions, or conversion guarantees. Third-party ad scripts also run on the site and may inspect page content or collect visitor data; do not submit confidential or sensitive information.

  • Tool checks do not send page content to RX Tools; third-party advertising scripts are separate and may inspect this page.
  • The broken-link check uses same-origin HEAD requests only, checks at most 50 unique destinations, and does not crawl external domains.
  • Your site’s CSP must allow the rxtools.win host in script-src and style-src; same-origin link checks also need permission in connect-src.
  • SEO and copy results are heuristics. Mobile checks inspect the current viewport. These tools do not certify compliance or predict rankings or conversions.
